"Providing Families a Hand Up"
Program Focus:The Transitional Housing Program is an extension of the Emergency Housing Program for families that have long term needs. Housing is provided in one of 6 apartments for a maximum of 2 years, however the average stay in our transitional housing is 7 - 9 months. These families continue to work on goals they have set in the emergency program. They continue to pay off their debts, increase their job skills and develop their coping and life skills. Our caring and professional staff provides the tools and support that is needed by the families. As a result, families overcome obstacles, make better decisions, and move on to a life of self-sufficiency.
2008 Statistics
